| The "Loveny Ladies", a loyal group of supporters, meet at the St. Neot Institute on the second Thursday of each month whilst the men attend choir practice. This is an enjoyable time for the ladies to get together to plan both social and fund raising events for the choir. Considerable sums of money have been raised by the ladies group which has enabled the choir to purchase several major items including an electric piano, new uniforms and the production of a new CD. The ladies also organize regular social events, these have included rambles on Bodmin Moor, Annual Dinners, Ten Pin Bowling evenings and Coffee mornings to name but a few. The Loveny Ladies play an important roll in entertaining and catering for visiting choirs, but perhaps above all our monthly meeting is a valuable opportunity for the wives and partners of the choristers to get together for a social evening. |
