Our song list is made up of a wide variety of music, from the traditional male choir pieces to more contemporary arrangements of songs from Queen, Coldplay, Eric Clapton, Radiohead to name a few.

The choir rehearse on Thursday evenings at the St Neot Institute, 7:30–9:30pm (meet in the bar from 7pm). These sessions are friendly and informal, sometimes hard work too… but the results are worth it!

✨ More than just singing — it’s about community, laughter, and sharing music together

Feeling nervous?  If the idea appeals to you, just come along for an evening—listen or join in as it suits you.

Here are some testimonials from new members who joined us during 2025.

"Having never sung in a choir before and not reading music, I felt really privileged to hear you all at practice and found some of the songs very emotional and uplifting on my first visit. The complexity of the different aspects of the choir grabbed my interest, although it did feel like a bit of a daunting prospect that could possibly put off new members.

However, it was the friendly encouragement right from the start and the understanding around how hard it was learning a whole load of songs that sustained my induction to the choir.

Then once involved, to be part of what I had initially heard was tremendous, even with mistakes😁and my first choir performance really fuelled my enthusiasm. So here I am 8 months later, really enjoying each performance whilst still learning at each weekly practice, and also volunteered as the representative for the group of basses who have been stalwart in their encouragement. So now it’s all change for Christmas with Carols I’ve never heard of so the challenge goes on to become more accomplished and feel an even more integral part of the choir.

Still not sure if I know every choir member’s name but then it’s a stretch at practice from basses to top tenners but it’s that friendly encouragement each week and folk simply being pleased to see you that makes the choir quite a special thing to be part of."   G.H.

"Made immediately welcome by all members of the choir with generous onward support."    D.T.

"If you enjoy your music and want to share the experiences with others, then a choir is for you. With a variety of music from traditional male voice choir pieces, Sea Shanties and more modern music. Great place to meet and make new friends, as  well as catch up with old ones".    S.O.
